Abstract

The following images are derived from pornography. I was looking for images to use as the basis for a traditional nude, and what I found was a lot of highly mechanical poses. I began to wonder if there was a way that I could use these images to create something with a higher astethic.

I downloaded a number of pictures and began to play with them on the computer; folding them; changing the colour; warping the picture untill there was no trace of the original image. The pictures below are what I ended up with.
